The Adventures of the Museum Cat by Class Y1D
Once upon a time there lived a cute and sleepy cat who belonged to Doctor Doughnut. The visitors to the museum thought the cat slept by the warm, snugly fire all day. The sparks in the fire reminded the cat of shooting stars and it made it feel comfy and warm. But, at night, when no one was around, the cast woke up. Every night the cat would join his gang of vicious and creepy friends to sneak into houses with cat flaps. They would eat the food, frighten the pets and steal things.
Unfortunately, one night something terrible happened. While the cats were out stealing from someone’s house, the Museum Cat accidentally switched on the radio. Suddenly the noise came blasting as loud as it could. Running down the stairs was a man with an evil and scary guard dog. The cat was trapped! They grabbed the cat and threw it into a cage. Luckily, the man dropped the key near the cage. The cat thought he could reach it so he stretched his paw and grabbed the key with his nail. He unlocked the cage quietly and slowly so he could escape.
At that moment, he crept out silently. He ran as fast as the wind all the way home. In the end he curled up in front of the fire and slept exactly the same as he always did. Doctor Doughnut and the museum visitors never knew the cat’s secret life!
We had a great day!!
Thank you for coming.
