AUTUMN TERM 2006
The children made drawings of the chicks when they hatched out of the class incubator. On the table are questions to help with their thinking. We encourage the children to look very closely before they draw.

The children were encouraged to make predictions about what might happen once the eggs were placed in the incubator. Lucy thought that the chicks would be "all fluffy when they come out" Conor thought that the chicks would all be the same colour. Later in the year we will be hatching duckling eggs.

After the visit to the exhibition "Art at the Rockface" the children made careful paintings of the crystals in rocks.
