EASTER 2008

The Easter Bunny Hunt took place on Sunday 16 March. Once again the support from everyone at Stannington Infant School and from several pre-schools in Stannington was fantastic!

For the second year, we held an Easter Bonnet competition and an egg decorating competition. The entries were oustanding as always and it was very difficult to choose the winners.

On the last day of term the children took part in a "roll an egg competition". Eggs were rolled towards humpty dumpty sat on a wall and the aim was to try and roll the egg through the arch.

The PFA raised £1030. Thank you to everyone who participated and as a result we are now in the process of getting estimates for a playground shelter, low level climbing wall, seating and other playground equipment.

Part of the money will be used to develop the garden area which will include fencing off the vegetable plot and the bog garden area as well as buying living willow to make a den and a tunnel.
